The difference is that Richmond have not played in the last 6 grand finals and won 4 of them like Subiaco have. Under the AFLs equalisation policy, Richmond will eventually drop back to the pack whereas there is no realistic end in sight to Subiacos dominance of the WAFL

Having a look at Gws memberships the other day.They have members all over Australia. Small in comparison to the big AFL clubs.But on par with NRL clubs.For members and attendances.
Didn't do themselves any favours yesterday. Making a lot of new friends during the week.Who have jumped off as quick as they jumped on the Giants.
So it it worthy of an investment of $200 million by the AFL..Hmmmm not sure about that.That money could go a long way fixing footy all over Australia. Not to mention the train wreck we now call the Wafl.
