Given what some are saying on here that the WAFL is dead or on it's last legs, our recent history in state games against the SANFL and VFL has been pretty good last game v SA was a narrow loss after several wins and we beat the VFL on their own paddock for the first time in decades, imagine how dominant the black swan would have been if the comp was travelling as well as the SANFL.
As for Centrals, during their sensational run of 9 flags in 11 years they were averaging around 55-57% local content and they have a vast zone based around the densley populated Elizabeth area. Tough suburbs that produced some really tough footballers like the Cullinan brothers. Big pommie immigrant population, their chant was from Pommes to Premiers. They have a big community based facility which is more akin to a NSW leagues club with restaurants, function rooms etc, worth looking at their website.
