The Sanfl GF is currently under way.And despite the possibility of inclement weather.The Adelaide Oval is bathed in sunshine. And 40,000 fans have turned up for this clash between traditional hated rivals.
Glenelg have been the top side all year and lost an early final narrowly to Port.Defeated the Crows well last week and got a shot at the GF.
Port have won Finals against the Crows and the Bays.On there way to the GF.With a cap on AFL players like in our Wafl comp.But there fully loaded with there professionals AFL listed players.
Half Time Glenelg 6-2 =38 V Port 2-6=18..
The build up for this game has been huge.With Sa footy legends like Graeme Cornes having there say .Putting the Sanfl back on the front pages.
Sadly Wa footy obsessed with everything Eagles.Hasn't heard a pin drop in the middle of the night.But Subi in 13 of the last 17 GF's doesn't help to much.
Bit of GF history about these sides in GF's.Port lead the Bays 6-1 in tight close fought matches.Glenelg won in 1934 during the Great Depression. It has been alleged that Glenelg payed Port and the Umpire off.
After the game the umpire hoped on a train to Perth and never returned to Adelaide. Who knows??

Glenelg lead all game.And responded to a 3rd qtr Port Adelaide fightback.Going on to win by 22 points.In front of 39,150 fans.

Well done to Glenelg. Had a bloody ripper hamburger in Glenelg. Nice place.

Let’s find out DG . Tell Mr Lawrence to put his money where his big mouth is and challenge the Glenelg Football Club. Put up 50k each winning side shares 80k, losers share 20k. Make a nice change and give Subi a challenge. Reckon 20,000 West Australians will turn up to Optus and cheer for Glenelg. Lol

Without having a look I think Wa is ahead of Sa by about 10 wins.
Just had a look it's Wa 47 V SA 46...Wa 1 ahead
