Was at Beasley today to watch the south street derby, got there half way through the first. Willo were ontop 4goals-1 and I thought they were going to run away with it. The BCL powerhouse then awoke, putting on 9 goals straight.
Then it all happened....
There was a marking contest at HF which was fairly contested. Two players then engaged in some push and shove (nothing serious at all) a Willo support whose name I do know, but i wont mention, Reserves player at the club, decided he would try and be a hero. He threw he beer down and ran onto the ground to try and stick up for 'his brother' as soon as the spectator entered the field of play the umpires called the game off.
To that dickhead Willo bloke everyone knows who you are and you embarrassed ur own club and ur brother...
BCL were up by 7 goals and running away with it.
To both clubs I tip my cap, for a serious situation which easily could of got out of control you handled urselfs extremely well. Both clubs wanted to continue with the game however the umpire already had his mind made up. I'm sure Willo are completely embarrassed by the situation as it seemed as though they were not interested in knowing the bloke who thought he'd be a hero.
Also I must commened the BCL supporters, if someone did that at my club they would not have walked away from the ground.
