Interesting times when the Eagles formed.Can remember them being murdered by the umpires in some of thoes early seasons.They still done well with the draft concessions that built them a power on field club.They also had a lot better start up side than Freo put on the field 8 years later.
Only thing with this article.Pretty sure in that era that the SANFL was in a lot better shape than the VFL+WAFL..In that era most of the gun recruits where coming out of SA.
