Perth Heat won their best of 3 semi-final today against Sydney, to advance to their first play off series for the Claxton Shield since 2015.

The best of 3 series will start at Baseball Park in Thornlie on Thursday night, and then move to the dogpit in Brisbane for the final 1 or 2 games over the weekend. The Brissy team will be a tough challenge, managed by the best baseballer Australia has produced, David Nilsson, and looking at their 4th consecutive title.
