Smoke I was surprised how well reimers went in the middle! He really did give Ali smith some support in the last quarter which was reflected in the centre clearance turnaround. I posted before the game reimers needed a good one and he stepped up!

Lucifer the lack of bench brought out the best in a lot of players, but Reimers' effort in the midfield showed his versatility. He was certainly hard at it.

Smokey JKT had possessions and played well, but a lot of those were soft possessions running around the ball handler. Florio ran off him a couple of times and goaled on one occasion. Still has a penetrating kick.

I thought Bogensperger was Subi's best player.

Lucifer BTB & Johnno really have backed themselves into a corner with their ravings I am ignoring them, hopefully they go away completely.

I think you are also right in saying the players that left would be battling to get a game. Maybe JKT but I'm not sure who I would want to drop for him. Our midfielders are to hard at it over the footy and that is foreign to JKT.

Smokey you are right, the stats show one thing, an even distribution of hard work.

And others played well as well e.g. Risol. I didn't realise that McInnes had had 20 possessions, he is slowly coming out of his slump.

Looking forward to WP.

McDoug. 18 touches with 22 hit outs on debut for the mighty loins
Elari 20 touches for the Ducks :woohoo:

Thanks again for that valuable information BTB keep it up look forward to it each week. Heres some more info you can put down. All three players played in loosing sides on the weekend. All three have now lost against their old side and all three play for teams that are located outside the top 4.

You might want to start up a thread such as 'Perth current player watch'. You probably dont know this but Perth had 10 players who had more than 20 possessions on the weekend....not a bad effort......Our opposition had 3 pretty conclusive.

Now seriously yes JK did have a good game, contributed to a couple and I think kicked one himself but you will agree this was probably his worst game for the year. Maybe up against his old side got to him a bit! Pretty impressed with McDougall though. I thought he was just going to be taking up the numbers when he got a guernsey but on Saturday he looked good and should give Subi some good service this year! Cant comment on Elari at the moment as I didnt watch the swans game but if you were to ask me who I drop from the Perth midfield or forward line for him it would be a nobody. Actually JKT seams to be the only player that would get a game on this seasons form.......happy to hear your view on this!

Thanks again for the update and ......GO DEES!

Elari is a very gutsy player Lucifer but I think sometimes his decision making could be better. Like a lot of the Swans players last Saturday, he tried his guts out and got some good numbers but a lot of them were not effective. I reckon you are spot on in saying that the way the Dee's midfield are going at the moment, he would be playing reserves if he was still with you.

How's Matt Rogers going in the ressies?

Is he pushing for a league berth?

Rogers is going OK. Has been gradually building up in the ressies and has been a solid contributor. He got 21 possessions on Saturday ( probably his best game so far) and on the Swans radio show tonight, Harding mentioned him as one of several players who will come under consideration for the league team this week. I think he will get a opportunity sometime over the next 4 weeks, maybe on the WA day weekend ;)

JKT is a soft player but he does his job and has been playing well for Subi this year as our most consistant player. He wasn't part of the clean-out as you guy's still wanted him. Perth gives players too much shit when they leave - be happy that your playing well and get on with winning not whinging !!!

Not sure you're entirely correct there Chopper I think you will find that it was mutually agreed that JKT & Dougs should go.

So you say - You may be correct.
Both played well for us against you guy's - Maybe a point to prove then ?
Why do some of your supporters crap on so much - Gee and your winning so I'd hate to see what they'd do if you were struggling !!!

Yes Chopper, I have already made comment at how well JKT & Dougs played, particularly Dougs.

I thought Florio did a good job on him, he only had 2 less possessions than JKT and ran off him to kick a goal. I did think a few of JKT's possessions were cheap ones but that's JKT, he does have a penetrating kick.

BOG for me was Brett Hodge.

As Lucifer has eluded to BTB is the one that started this thread, a deluded wounded father who's little boy Max Duffy had to move to EF to get a Colt's game.
