Just my five cents worth. This being the first footy forum type site I've been associated with and enjoying the time here. It's great to see others out there that are passionate about the Wafl. Although from next season looking doubtful. Not sure why this site should go the same way as fg? Not unless things are appening behind the scenes we're not aware of. Have noticed the membership is well above Four Hundred, so there's plenty of membership up and about.

The Host Club agreement has played a big part in me showing no interest in AFL, my first concern is South Fremantle and the WAFL comp. I have no interest or time for either of the local AFLers.

This sites main function is WAFL which is great as I beleive it is now the only WAFL forum on the net. The reason there is no interest on AFL topics here is because there are heaps of other sites that go on and on about AFL , individual club forums etc most AFL people go there as this is not a place for them, they have no interest in WAFL.

Its clear from most of the posts here that the users are WAFL people with little or no concern for AFL.

Personally I would be quite happy to see the AFL threads removed or condensed to one AFL thread...or keep them ..doesn't bother me as I wull not use them.

I suggest that people with huge AFL agendas would be better going to other forums at least they would have someone else to talk too.

A/man - another miracle: AFL is a competition not a sport. Players play in the AFL; they do not play AFL.

My predominant interest with respect to the AFL is limited to how the ex-Swan Districts players are going.

I am happy to discuss AFL be it the Eagles or the dockers or any issue or club. But none come up here so obviously little is said.

West Perth are my heart and always will be, but I am also an Eagles member and have been for 23 years.

Footy is footy and happy to discuss anything.

Looks like your outnumbered Anchor! I concur with BH , Bazza, Cesspit and co, i couldnt give a rats sphincter who wins AFL each week in reality, i follow it in passing like Bazza does and its probably more like the old days where following VFL was secondary to WAFL, i do follow Hawthorn and hope they win but it doesnt cut me up if they lose like it does if SD lose and i couldnt name half the side playing this weekend for Haw, whereas i dream about Swans. If the AFL imploded tommorow through more scandals i would get blind celebrating it to be honest!
I hangout each week for WAFL world and the SD show on 91.3fm and im always watching my many old discs of SD footage from 1980 til now, and myself and Leedy often get together having WAFL nights, watching footage over a few drinks
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

What about the 1980 GF mate - watch that a few times ..lol I've worn my tape out!

nah in all seriousness, I agree AFL is just not that important to me. Plus they shafted the WAFL, if it folded tonight I would actually be happy like you!

For me Anchor the whole AFL setup on the forum is to difficult to keep up with.
Half the time I dont even notice if people post.

Should have 3 sections only. WCE, Freo and an AFL one for me. Then I will take you on gladly and daily.

I support EP despite the current situation but as far as the AFL goes, I watch it to see how the West Aussie talent is fairing, I suppose this comes from having seen them in COLTs and wanting to see whether my thoughts or opinion on them is/was accurate. Lads like Harley Bennell, Garlett, Duncan etc all provide me with great viewing when they play,

bottom line is, if the team has some WA boys in it I will watch, results not an issue

Basically if nobody here is interested in what you have to say or your post and cant be stuffed posting then it means that dont give a toss.

Just have a look at the Perth thread alone it has 2017 replies - the entire AFL club replies are only 244.

I think that says a lot.
