Valid and true, concur with all comments relating to the integrity of Mick Fanning. Right or wrong, the Australian surfing fraternity suffers much less scrutiny from the press than an Australian Test cricketer does.
Or an AFL player or an AFL coach, so perhaps we should keep in mind those exposed to greater scrutiny (sometimes relentlessly) may know " how to conduct themselves".
Point is put anyone through a certain type of scrutiny and then see how they react to it and handle it.
Just a point of view, no doubt translated by some as anti West Australian, not pro justin Langer etc.
