It seems to me listening to Eddie and all of the other Victorian media outlets and commentators that Essendon (whilst innocent til ....) is cleaner that a nappy after 2 weeks in nappy san, whilst the WCE and Cousins et al were as guilty as sin until proven guilty or not.

Saint James can do no wrong yet if it was a non vic based club there would be fire and brimstone coming out of the vic press. Strangely quiet is Walls, you recall him who used would like disgrace, would never happen in Vic etc, stripped of the premiership and brownlow.

Perhaps it is me and the commentators are more tolerant of drugs, recreational or PED than they were in the previous scandal, perhaps because he is rich, in an old club and victorian makes him and his club immune from the vitriol that was dumped on the WCE leadership and management.

Well not ALL vic media are saying that, there is quite a few calling for at very least Jimmy Hird to stand down. Funnily enough i dont recall 6PR or the west or Channel 7 exactly persue the Eagles drug culture UNTIL they had no choice.

It was quite astounding the way the eagles got off the hook during that era. Even now it's as if it never happened.

WE all know it happened, THEY all know it happened, so what do you expect s&s? Should they still be sanctioned and ostracised after all these years? When is the time limit or is it an endless one?
