Interesting news on twitter. Last ever wafl GF at subi. Half priced tickets $15 and only $10 for wafl members! Also dockers/ Eagles members $10. Kids free. $3 pies. Now your talking.
Glad they are thinking enough to promote it this far out for a change!
Sunday 1450 start. Hope for a non aligned club GF and a big crowd for my last wafl game

It all sounds pretty hunky dory, but why the 2.50 start? Is that to allow the Colts a later start?Or just for you know who's Evil Purposes?!

Who gives a damn for what purposes. It's a great forward thinking idea. Football finals are usually too pricey.. Go with it I say.

It looks like a good thing Grassy. As far as I can tell the big machine have their preliminary final on the saturday 23rd, and the day after the Grand Final is a public holiday. Suits kids and workers and people like me that have to come in from rural areas.

I'd go for the parade of past champions prior to the game, but I can't see any reason to stay afterwards, unless Swan Districts are there. It looks like being Subiaco and South Fremantle unless one of them falls over in the finals. Peel aren't as dominant as last year, East Perth need to go on a winning streak identical to 1978 to get there, West Perth arent playing well enough and Swans are winning but they would need to find a way to kick bigger scores to have a chance.

It is interesting that it will be $5 cheaper to go to the GF than a home and away game. Will it also be $10 to go to the qualifying finals as well?

A cynical person would suggest 42 that AFLWA know full well Subi are going to be one of the teams involved (with Peelmantle also a chance) thus meaning yet another small attendance is on the cards for a WAFL GF....I wonder if it were say a SD vs WP or SF GF would they be so generous?!

Sounds very positive to me, I will attend this year I hope our Colts storm home to the GF. I have had a decent wager on South to beat Subi.
