Amazing to see both players with immense potential go in opposite directions...Stokes on the up whilst Marsh spirals south....hopefully Mitch was watching Stokes innings yesterday and learns from it.....

Not too sure why Lynn was picked for this comp....matchwinner of the highest and yet Lehmann goes for safety with Henriques....mind boggling....loved Pontings comment that fatigue played a factor in Aust demise....more like greed Ricky....no one forces these guys to play IPL or even county cricket....yeah its there job got no probs with folk working xtra dont just use it as an excuse.

Good to see Bangladesh get an opportunity to develop their game....can only see SA beating Eng though....though so far in this comp bar Eng anyone can beat anyone on their day....

freeze our collapse was spectacular. Some pretty average shots played.Easily 50 runs short.Then before the first rain delay we had them 3-30.Morgan and Stokes smashed us all over the park.

Grassy ..Looks like there's some problems in the next Ashes series.The Poms have a good bowling attack,fast and spinners.There batting is solid apart from there openers.And Stokes might do a Ian Botham on AU.

The amazing thing is that it is has not occurred to the players that the ACB could just pick another team as they did in 1912 or 1978.

How can they possiblly be tirred most of their games have been rainned off? Border was trying to use it as an excuse for some of the poor batting.

Ark that Leggy,Rashid.He has about 6 or 7 variations of his leggy.Including a wrongan and a armball out the back of his hand.Apart From Smith don't think any of our batsman can read him out of his hand or off the wicket.

gtr: Rashid has improved a lot which is good to see. The big question is will the English selectors have the courage to pick him in a test series out here. I think he will go for a few -- as Australia is the hardest place to bowl leg spin well --- but in a place, such as, Sydney, he could win them a test match; something Moen Ali could not do.

Ark leg spinners allway go for runs but they take wickets.Was surprised the New South Wales captain who should be use to spin,Henriques.Was all at sea facing him.There was a bit of green grass on that Edgbaston wicket.Not bad considering the rain they have had over there.

Rashid takes 4/40.....yet Zampa goes for 50 odd without a wicket.....when will the Aust batsmen ever learn how to play spin?....a couple of Lynn sixes could of put Rashid off his game or even out of the attack...oh well as Grassy said this comp meant nothing....sad that thought when ever Aust played on the international stage in any sport it meant something

gtr: I am also at a bit of loss to follow the logic of the selectors -- surelly Head had to bat four, Maxwell five and Henriques six? Gone are the days when we used to have a whole group of top six batsmen playing in the Shield waitting to get in the test side.

Ark was just listening to AbC Grandstand. SAfrica will need 350 batting first.To keep India out of the game.
Maby if the rain didn't come Ark.Could of bowled out quicks out and picked up Morgan or Stokes.
