Thank you Singha. To refer to the sport as AFL is as ridiculous as saying the WAFC, West Coast Eagles or the AFL are quality institutions that are interested in the development of AUSSIE RULES apart from the parasitical, voracious AFL competition.

As for Goyder: as expected he COULDN'T give a STUFF about the WAFL.

Whilst at it once again the West Coast Eagles have shown their complete and utter contempt for the WAFL. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should the Eagles be allowed to have a stand-alone team in the WAFL. They didn't care about the irreparable damage they have done to the WAFL or East Perth and they couldn't care less if they do the same to Perth.

It is very easy to create your own history when you have got a TV station & media outlets in your pocket that have smothered any hint of competition , and yes that means stopping any rival local comp that could or has the potential to rob it of exposure at all levels

There isn't many football people in football in this time - what you see is the result of self-centered ego & pure commercial greed

Christ we used to have a bloody exciting game , had fucking rovers bagging 10 , alltime highlight reels
Somehow in 20 years it's become vacuum sealed baby food packets

Most people in the football community have been conned. I wonder if those whom have been conned will still think it is the same game when they finally abolish the 'boundary throw-in? A few years ago, the sport of 'soccer' debatted getting rid of the throw-in in favour of kicking the ball back into play. Thankfully, FIFA dropped the idea out of a combination of tradition and the fact that, such change, would fundamentally alter the way the sport is played.
