Lawson would only be happy if there were 111 NSW players in the test team.

Alas that is a commentator, the selectors that WA people say are biased obvioulsy werent in this case. People on here always bang on about Eastern based bias with THE SELECTORS

Haha yes to a point Unk but I dont think any of us are that biased that we would call for 11 West Aussies in the side unlike that absolute imbecile Geoff Lawson who's complete and utter hatred of anything WA stems from him as skipper of NSW losing the unloseable Sheffield Shield Final in 91/92 to a bunch of WA kids and thus ending his career...deadset sourpuss is Lawson!

Dont rate Lawson either ..tosspot, it was more about the alledged bias that some say the selectors have against WA players.

And why wouldn't the selectors choose both Marshes over Usman Shaun averages 45 in the sub continent, heck even though I don't support MM selection he has a better average than Usman at above 30 in the Sub continent, poor old Uzzie looked like a rabbit in the headlights last time he played in Asia, Usman wasn't a really good example to use in this case.

Hard to judge how good or bad 250 is until India have a bat. I suspect it is at least 100 below par given how easily Starc and Hazlewood were playing at the end of the day. Starc averages more in test cricket batting at number 8 than Mitch Marsh at number 6,that says a lot. Other than Renshaw a pretty limp batting display by the top and middle orders, Smith's was a very soft dismissal. Wonder if Renshaw is the first batsman in test history to retire "desperately needing a crap". He should have just done it in his pants and that would have got rid of the close in fielders as well
