Shocking revelations have come out, though i doubt many would be surprised. Just says something about religion in general.

In this day and age of science, why do people still believe in a god? Blows my mind that people can be so desperate or ignorant that they believe praying to a bloke in the sky actually do anything. And thats just Christians, dont get me started on some of the other religions.

yep...agree Mcbob. Religion has been the justifying reason for so much grief and carnage over thousands of years...i'm surprised anyone still follows a religion these days.

Big religion is big business and they cant afford to admit liability otherwise their precious business will fail and all their cosy entitlements will disappear.

They disgarded any pretence of so called "Christian values" many years ago in favour of protecting their privilidged and what they think are untouchable positions.

The way they and other organisations and institutions have treated those of their own flock and under their care defies comprehension and understanding. They are evil personified.

no argument there...it took a great deal of faith to follow that rabble back then...but it has been repaid tenfold these days. Never mind Mary MacKillop, Kevin Merrified and Michael Carlisle should be up for sainthood.

Yeah true must of been the stout faith - Subi always was the Catholic Club of Perth, I knew Brian Singleton QC personally and he was very devout!
