2nd OD XI Grassy? FMD it's Aussies like you who make my daily life in NZ a pain in the arse......pretty sure Hazlewood , Starc, Cummins and Faulkner are Aust best ODI bowlers...disppoints me NZ can make 275 plus scores TBH......take out Warner and Smith and Aust batting looks pretty thin......

Worries me a great deal if Santner can take wickets and he doesnt even spin it....Ashwin is gonna kill us......soft cock batting once again.......and once again WHAT IS THE POINT in Shaun Marsh playing for Australia.....I am sick of his inept brain fades and soft tissue injuries......why do folk like Langer, Lehmann etc rate him so highly?...beats me.....the guy needs to be cast adrift......Klinger waits 18 years for an Aust gig......and both Marsh boys simply fart in a BBL, Matador or Shield match and they are picked in OZ teams in a flash......they are no better then their average father.......drives me nuts......everyone rants on about NSW boys getting easy Aust selections....pretty sure Mitch, Shaun and Geoff Marsh are WA born n bred!

Only missing Smith & Warner  (only 2 of the best batsmen in the world Freeze) pretty sure Wade, M.Marsh, Lynn et al were unavailable also. I also rate Pattinson (who seems to have been completely forgotten about) ahead of Cummins.

Didnt say "only" missing Smith and Warner BH.....said that bowling attack of OZ wasnt 2nd XI stuff......perhaps if Mennie, Worrall etc were playing maybe....I also said TAKE Smith and Warner out of that batting line up and Aust suddenly looks thin......as for missing Wade and Mitch Marsh......fark me BH are you taking the piss?.......Stoinis has done more in those two games than Mitch has done in the last 2 years......Wade can bat a bit but is a terrible keeper......yep Pattinson is talented but not too sure his longevity these days.....more than happy to rotate all four quicks thru a ODI series TBH......and Lynn.....mmmmmm this guy is talented but seems like the BBL is too strenuous on his body...

Starc has been all over the place in these two games. He gave me the impression he was always trying to bowl the unplayable ball instead of striving for consistency. His last over today encapsulated this in that he skittled two tailenders with his first two balls, then proceeded to concede 16 runs in his last 4 with a selection of full bungers and half trackers. This boosted NZ from a sub par 265 to 280.

Stoinis will surely keep Mitch Marsh out of the ODI team for a while with his performances in this series. Again I reiterate my point from the Eden Park game that George Bailey would have been very handy out there again today when the Australian batsmen were losing their heads.

Freeze lets not confuse Test Cricket with One Day International Cricket now...Wade (who was also our Captain before injured) has been our first choice one day keeper since Haddin pulled the pin not long after the World Cup triumph (anyone who has seen Handscomb keeping in NZ will realise he makes Wade look like Rod Marsh), Mitch Marsh did smash the Kiwis all over the park over here in the C/H series before Xmas would have loved the toy grounds over there to mistime a few 6s ditto Lynn. As for both Smith & Warner missing as an equivalent (tho both Kiwi's not in the same class as the Aussie pair) take Williamson & Taylor out of NZ side and see how well they go...would the Kiwis even have been competitive without them?

BH considering NZ won the the first ODI with little or no contribution from both Willaimson and Taylor, not too sure where you are going with your argument.....and Guptill is easily NZ best ODI batsman of late....and he didn't play the other day.....

I know what Grassy is saying and yep the kiwi's are getting above themselves against a weakened Aussie batting line up....bring on SA........just don't agree with Grassy's 2nd XI comment considering Aust had their best bowlers running in TBH.....but hey you win some you lose some......just hopefully these losses result in Lehmann et al realising S Marsh has had enough chances.....as has Finch....and Handscomb is a test player....and Maxwell needs to bat 6 or 7 if he even deserves to play.....which in all honesty shouldnt be the case of late.....way way over rated with his fancy reverse sweeps.......

S Marsh and Maxwell are off to India, which means the squad is already 2 short......make that 3 with Mitch Marsh......who last played when?.....will be interesting times over there......a lot of planets will haveto align for a victory in one match I reckon.....we just dont seem to have the patience or the ego to bat with grit when the time arises......was showed in both those ODI losses.....heads were lost with some stupid dismissals........be interested to see if Renshaw can show his more older colleagues the way forward......
