Don't know why people are knocking Shaun Marsh, averages 53 in the past ten tests and is the only one who has scored centuries in the sub continent in this current test side, imo Usman is the one who should be under pressure hes a walking wicket in the sub continent as he showed in Sri Lanka.

Whats that's got to do with anything, the facts are when he plays for Aust he consistently makes runs, and considering they are touring India his record is better than most in that side in the sub continent, he makes hundreds which all of the current players have failed to do in the sub continent.

A lot, if he had an average of 50 against say poms saffies and India that would be fine; Handscome has an awesome average after playing mostly a district side in Pakistan.

Pakistan were ranked no1 in the world before this series with the same side that thrashed England and Australia at home.

He's played 19 tests I'm talking about his last ten tests where he's averaging 53 , off the top of my head they were against Sri Lanka, Sth ,Africa, Windies, and the Kiwis. besides the Windies those countries are more than capable, anyway my main point is you need batsmen that bat well on Bunsen burners and he's proven that by making hundreds in those conditions I have more faith in him than what I have in Usman, Warner and heaven forbid Maxwell who bats below Wade for Victoria.

Not an 80 ball century but his innings ensured that the Scorchers would get the home final. When in form he is a magnificent timer and placer of the ball and you can see why the Australian selectors want him to succeed.

Based on the history of his body, and talking into account the number of one dayers he will likely play before India, he is likely to break down again before the first test there.
