Anchorman, me thinks they are trying to fit Head and Maxwell into the same side to cover spin bowling options for the 2019 world cup. That allows them to play Faulkner and Marsh as bowling all rounders batting 6 and 7 with a keeper at 8.

The 2019 world cup is in England. A side with that many good hitters in their top 8 can then play 3 genuine quicks (Starc, Hazelwood, and Cummings who all bat)and have the goods to win the next world cup.

If they bat first with that top 8 they should make 350+ every time which they should be able to defend.

Never looked likely to make 350. Warner looked like a chook & Smith went 1st ball. Five out for under 80 & looked gone. Wade ( who cant bat according to some)got his century last ball.
Marsh took 30 minutes to get to Four.

Considering Smith and Warner have made runs all summer, think they were due a low score...and considering Wade has made fark all this summer, think he was overdue a decent score....as for Marsh.....well same old same old......

I dont know if anyone has had a go at Wade's batting ability on here only his keeping which is actually his main job in the side!
