Yep, it's a never ending story!
Now lo and behold, old julie bishop is now looking decidedly shaky.

The irony of all this is I remember the prophetic words of then PM Tony Abbot and his treasurer Joe Hockey talking the tough talk and talking down to those on welfare telling them "the age of ENTITLEMENT IS OVER". Bill Shortens mother in law, the last GG, was THE most expensive GG the nation ever had , she spent more on clothes about triple any previous GG had done and more on flowers for the house than any previous, she lead a lavish lifestyle at the tax payers expense and apparently was the same as State Gov in Qld. Accepted a damehood and then when she had filled her boots with every cent and honour the Crown could give - she had the gaul to come out and say , of btw I'm a republican. What a low life.

After the polo fiasco, we now learn taxpayers paid for her to attend the horses in Melbourne. And if that's not bad enough taxpayers paid for the partners travel too!! Not sure what 'official business' a foreign minister has at the races? I hope she can tell us all? And explain it rather quickly would be good.

Ley is gone and finally Turnbull has announced expenditure will be overseen by an independent panel. why it wasn't done years ago is beyond me because as night follows day all pollies are into it...she just went too far and got caught.

Agree BC, no great loss as far as Ley goes, good riddance. MT needs to lift his game the clocks ticking on his last 3 yrs, as you say this rubbish should of been sorted years ago.
