Don't know why anyone would go to Bali now. We went there in 1982 and while it was a bit smelly in places and fairly raw, we had a brilliant holiday. People were absolutely lovely. Went back in 1992 and it was ok, but the Javanese were moving in with their scams and a few people were cruising the streets trying to sell hash hish. Went back in 2012 and what an absolute shithole filled by ripoff conmen and women. Pull the plug on it and let it sink into the ocean.
