You farking little bewdy.....more than screamed 58.....and yeah PN it looks very tempting that fly in fly out for next weekend.....what a great game.....how GWS lost that with 3 genuine tall forwards against a backline of semi talls I will never know......pure guts and persistence.......reckon the Buddy train may be in motion next weekend....but who farking cares....christ if I was Beveridge I would play Bob Murphy.......dodgy knee or not......if it goes who cares at least you could say you played in a GF.......bring in Bob!

Rock -- too true, but at least in the WAFL the Commission does not give the best young players in the country directly to Subiaco, Peel or EP -- some of the alignment players can't play.

You gotta do it Freeze, my advice is get there a few days before and soak up the build up and whatever you do do not miss the GF parade on the Friday. It is football tribalism at its best. Position yourself across the road from Melbourne Central train station its brilliant.

Then watching the build up of the crowd at the G with blocks of your teams colours and the oppositions colours is something to behold and YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOUR TEAM WILL MAKE ANOTHER GF. That was the attitude I took so I went.

Like Leicester City this is a real win for football.

One of the better games of AFl I've seen for many years, the skills from both teams were elite under extreme pressure and the pace of the game was mind boggling at times, just shows how far behind the current trend of footy both Freo, WC and a few other AFL are. The number of stoppages was far less than normal because both teams handball skills meant the game never stopped for too long.

Some wonderful talent at GWS and they are a scary prospect going forward but in the end all that pent up frustration of 50+ years without a GF fuelled that last qtr fightback and we got the result most wanted.

They may have already played their GF unfortunately, the head says the Swans by 30+ but the heart says Doggies, hope they can live the dream next Saturday.
