Well I have to say that this current side , sent to defeat on the sub-Continent as appears to be the usual , would have to be the worst I've ever seen

Even in 1985 or 1986 we had some fighters prepared to dig in a bit or at least cop a few in the process of surviving but geez I've seen some soft soft cricket of late from this mob

I'm not sure what stratosphere Bacchus is in presiding over the plucking of these spuds - how is Marsh still in that side , how is Zampa not ripping it on a deadset godsend of decks for his style , Lyon is getting smashed & they can't get rid of Mendis a rookie

This summer if this is the go , we will get pummelled at home

Geez time to clean out the shed & get jobs on the go

I think the term "flat track bullies" comes to mind in this situation Southerner. The batsmen do not know how to adapt their games to suit the conditions and the thought of playing a long patient innings appears to be unthinkable thanks to the 20/20 game. Burns should be dropped for the appalling shot he played to that half tracker in the first over which started the rot.

I have just watched the deplorable Australian batting debacle in the second test against Sri Lanka and only Warner and Marsh showed some capacity to cope with the conditions!
