Mudlark - if you were on a million dollars a year and your boss came in and said the company is really struggling and i want you to give me some feedback as to ways the company could improve what would you do ?

just not bother to repsond ?

fair chance your boss might think you actually dont give a stuff about things..

for a million dollars a year and 14k a test i'd give a stuff but obviously some people on here are too tough for that and would tell the boss where to go !

For a start,I'd expect my boss who is on lots more money than me to show some guts and call a team meeting to verbalise what might be wrong with the business and how things could be improved. No sticky notes under the door or nice letters.Face to face stuff with the whole team meeting at the one time. Some people might get their noses put out of joint, but sometimes that has to happen before the business can move forward again.

Anyway, Captain's say is final ..

That's how to treat these prima donnas DR - good bit of footage. The most Clarky would do to their faces is to tell them their hair gels and mirrors were banned till they picked up their game!

Mudlark and others on here and not going to like Justin Langer after reading this story:

WARRIORS captain Adam Voges has revealed the self-evaluations currently at the forefront of Australian cricket were a key to the WA side's dramatic turnaround this season.

Shane Watson, Mitchell Johnson, James Pattinson and Usman Khawaja were all suspended from selection for the third Test in India, starting tomorrow, for not completing evaluations on how to better themselves and the team after a whitewash start to the series.

Voges said the task was one of the first exercises coach Justin Langer installed upon taking up the reins of the Warriors and helped give the flailing side direction.

"It's funny you should mention it, really, because it was one of the first things JL got us to do when he came on board," Voges said.

"The boys had to sit down and write out, A; what they wanted to get out of themselves and, B; what they wanted to get out of the rest of the season.

"It was something that everyone completed.

"It's all about preparing as well as you possibly can, whether that's with your skills, or mentally, or any little edge you can get to be as good a cricketer as you can be.

"JL asked that of our group and we obviously did it."

The Warriors have won their past three Sheffield Shield clashes outright to move into contention for their first Shield final in more than a decade.

WA tomorrow faces Queensland at the WACA in its final regular-season match and another outright win would likely book a berth in the Shield showdown.

Voges said the evaluation practice had given the Warriors a crucial plan in direction.

"It's a wide range of things (that come out of the tests)," he said.

"Personal ambitions; whether it's about playing as many games as they possibly can for Western Australia, or playing as much as they possibly can for Australia.

"When you do come to training, you do have a goal in mind, so you're not just turning up and going through the motions.

"It maybe just realigned our ambitions a little bit and we're in a better place because of it."

Voges, who has spent time with the national limited overs squads, said he had not noticed any behaviours in the team that were suggestive of the current turmoil engulfing the side.

"I was only there for five minutes, to be fair, but in my time there, I didn't see anything that would have been a pre-cursor to what's happened in India over the last couple of days," he said.

"Every time I've played with Watto, he's been nothing short of professional and very much team orientated.

"From my point of view, personally, he's always been a team man.

"That's Pat's prerogative to make those comments in the position he's at."

I reckon absolutely they have made the right decision. Good to see Clarke grow some balls. Playing for australia is an honour and not a right. As for Watson I've always thought his love for Australia was a distant second to his love for himself.
