Just reading the post about the African kid on the EFFC colts list got me thinking about Mirrabooka. We all know it's full of black African kids. Which WAFL club owns the district and are they actively trying to sway and recuit some of these young men? Get some of these boys playing and that'll start dragging in African parents and supporters.

It belongs to Subiaco. We already have one African lad in the league side, one in the colts and one in the 16's development squad. The Edmund Rice Lions do a fantastic job with their immigrant football program in the area. So yeah, it's going well at this early stage.

East Perth also have the Bakari Royals doing great work in their zone and have one African already in their senior squad.

I have said this before...there is untapped potential with these lads. Great athletes which need tutition. Good to see Subi taking the intiative.
