Sorry to be a pleb but Rugby League is one of the few sports I have no interest in whatsoever. I do know however that the Maroons have dominated State of Origin over the last few years and this no doubt would not go down well with the blue baggers

Have never watched it before, however had a kiwi mate over last night and raved about how great it is and could we watch it, so we had it on. Far to little scoring for me and not as tough as I thought it would be. What I found interesting was the fact that so many players didn't follow through with the tackle. You would have 3 players tackling one guy, and it really looked like a half hearted effort. They didn't even bring him to ground like I thought they would. I asked my mate was this because of exhaustion or just how they tackle now. His reply was theses days it is nowhere near as tough as it used to be and like the AFL has become heavily sanitised.

It's just a Sydney media driven/pushed over hyped bore fest that whole game, a sport perfect fit for the Westy Fibro type for those who know Sydney well ...it has not 1 thing going for it over our own great AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL!

Prefer Rugby to league, the only league I watch are the SOO and the NRL GF. Last nights game was a snooze fest but have watched some brilliant brutal contests especially the ones in the 90's when sometimes a game would breakout amongst the donnybrooks.
