...made some outlandish comments in the first test. Followed up by this in the second test "we can bowl India out for under our 239 in the first innings and take a lead going into the second dig". All this from a bloke who has played a handful of tests. Confidence is one thing... being delusional is another.

Wade should just concentrate on his wicket keeping because at the moment he is a very ordinary back stop who couldnt keep beer cold...not in the same ball park as Gilchrist, Marsh, Healy or even Haddin for that matter!!

I think if we looked back the appropriate amount of time to when each of your listed wicket-keepers were at the same stage of their international careers that they were not flash behind the stumps, Marshies nick name was old iron gloves and the other guys were picked because they batted well. They got better with time and then we all forget their early career clangers. Give the boy a chance at least he has the balls to play with an injuted face and score a fifty in foreign conditions. Lets concentrate on the real strugglers in this team. Hughes, Watson, Cowan and the slogger.

I would be more concerned if he told the press he didn't think we had a snow balls chance in hell of winning.
His keeping will improve as he goes along for sure but he still has much improvement before he is the true number one.
Have to remember Ucker that Old Iron gloves got to balls that no others would.

There is POSITIVE,then there is living in cloud cookoo land...bowl India out with that line up for under 239... yeah right. Dont reckon any cricket onbserver would have seen it like that!!

Wade wouldn't of been to far off the money if it wasn't for Vijay and Pujarra's 370 run stand.

On Wade i think Hartley from Queensland could count himself unlucky a far better gloveman, Wade is a better batsman though.

If they take this current Australian team to England i can't see them winning a test match, not only that they can't play spin they struggle against the swinging ball as well.

Probably showing my WA bias but i would select Voges who plays county cricket in our winter and scores plenty of runs on their wickets, and has hit a bit of form for WA at the moment.

Doolan from Tassie and Burns from the Queensland Bulls, unfortunately there aren't too many knocking down the door and its a shame someone like Shaun Marsh who i reckon would probably be the next best batsman in the current side is injury prone.

I tnink our pace bowling is good enough plenty of options, spin bowling is a big concern, Agar has shown a fair bit of potential.

It sounds silly, but I would rush Agar into the test side.

What I like about him is his height.

He is tall and can extract the bounce as well as turn, bowling from height.

I may be wrong but I reckon he could be a star of the future.

Yes let him nurture his game for a couple of years or so

Surely Hughes must be dropped after another failure! Bring in Khajawa!
