Assuming Ozfooty stops this will be the third forum in WA in the last decade that has closed for the same reasons.
I don’t thank those people here whose sole objective was to use this site to vent their megalomaniac anger thereby wasting mine and the site moderator’s time.

This will be another piece of WA we are losing but mainly as a forum for those posters with integrity who:
have good knowledge on certain subjects;
are lateral thinkers;
can put their thoughts to paper concisely;
or have a great sense of humour.

As stated by other posters this site was a terrific all rounder for every level of footy and also gave us the Bar for a good chinwag on non football issues.

I thank these people for sharing their 20 cents worth in that it has helped me become more informed or aided in any decisions needed.

My gratitude to the Copley’s for giving a few years of good times and may all the Ozfooty posters have good health and happiness for them and theirs in the future.

Well said D. Yes this will be the third footy site to disappear. Submissions for this site close in a day. And there has been no news of a sale. I'd assume some kind of announcement from the moderators on the matter? There are many good passionate and knowledgeable Wafl people out there which is great to see. Some of the posters on-site do go over the top, which is unnecessary. Reading others input has expanded my own understandings. As stated before, the moderators need congratulating on their fine work.
Thank-you everyone for putting up with my 5 cents worth over the years. Unclear what the future holds. Hopefully the Wafl is around for many years to come.

Can I just say that being able to trade conversation and debate on the WAFL and other subjects on here has been a great pleasure.
I don't think I had had any great run ins with anyone but if I did I hope no one was offended.
Thanks to the guys who put up this site and all the work they did.
I wish you all well and hope to engage again sometime.

There is a WAFL board on Big Footy we could use as it is rarely posted in.

Always enjoyed your posts greatwhiteshark -- I concur with your comments about this site; I hope all the regulars on here keep well in the future.

If or when this site is discontinued in the very near future then I will reluctantly migrate to the Bigfooty website unless another footy site dedicated to Western Australian football emerges. Hopefully ozfooty continues and we will be able to passionately and proudly support our WAFL competition and its very rich football 130 year history. Best wishes to all posters and in particular those who support the WAFL.

Thanks to the ozfooty administrators for their fine efforts on this site. It will be sad if this site closes down tomorrow. In general, I have enjoyed the repartee with the fellow posters on here.

Hopefully, the WAFL competition is around for many, many years. It is unlikely that I will move over to another site, so all the best to all the posters on here.

Sorry Swan42 I forgot to mention you in my post, although we come from different sides of the political spectrum , I have always found your discussion polite thoughtful and civil in discourse.

Wherever you are out there in cyber space we are unlikely to cross paths again so Thanks and all the very best with whatever the future holds.
