Many thanks to George and Mike. You have allowed us passionate WAFL supporters a chance to express our thoughts and opinions on the teams and the game we love.

It will be a shame if another buyer can not be found and another WAFL site will be closed. That would be three in five years if my calculations are correct.

Maybe if clubs and the commission were more forthcoming with information and kept their websites regularly updated and did not treat their members with discontent and stopped living in the 60's and 70's then we might be all better off for it and sites like this would be better off for it.

Thanks to George & Mike who have done a tremendous job of not only starting up the site from scratch after the demise of footygoss & waflonline but running it smoothly over the last 4 years. Consider the last couple of days without the site we really have nothing for us WAFL diehards except the very ordinary Vic centric bigfooty!

Thanks Anchorman for kicking this topic off. Mike and George you have my thanks for supporting WAFL big time. You were deeply involved with the SAVE THE WAFL campaign and passionate in your efforts to Keep the WAFL as a grass roots comp we all love and it is through your efforts we have had a couple of wins against the WAFC mongrels.
All the best in your future endeavours guys and you have my eternal gratitude in supporting the WAFL and that is all that matters. You can both sleep at night knowing you did and will continue to support our Mighty comp.

Thanks guys for all your efforts over the years. You deserve all the plaudits outlined above and more, the web site, bringing as it did, the WAFL alive each day. From my point of view, it was always a great privilege to be able to post on the site. All the best for the future chaps.

Having read all the previous comments, and this site continues to be a breath of fresh air. It would be a disaster to see it fall off the perch to be retired. Mike and George need to be congratulated. They have done a brilliant job in creating this website and for the input. Just needs someone or perhaps a group of people to continue the good work. I don't know any of the posters on a personal level, so can only say Thankyou to Mike, George and everyone in general for making a great site for Wafl news.

I am saddened by the news that 2 great stalwarts of the WAFL have made a decision to leave the running of the site.

You both have my sincere thanks for giving me an opportunity to promote my clubs colts and development teams.
