These days it's Levitzke and O'Neil, musing about the Gumtrees swinging in the breeze, good god. :woohoo:

Madam Paykos, spent eons, shuffling papers, making cups of tea, giving anything but the results that mattered. Now on maternity leave. Please madam, enjoy it as long as you can.

Stuart Lowe and Craig Evans were calling the dishlickers on 6pr in those days mate not sure the ABC ever covered them?

Both added a little bit of variety. It's funny how simple and better things seemed with so much less.

I do that much Channel hopping on the Idiot Box hopping now,it ain't funny.

Tonight's not great,so I whipped out Major League for a few cheap laughs and to hear the different sound of Bat on Ball.

I remember when 10 entered , was that 88 or 89? Anyway Brayshaw made sure WAFL got plenty of coverage he would take the ob Van to a venue do a live cross for the early 10 news , esp finals time all ofcourse from Subi, in 89 we could still pull 38,000 to a gf,,,,,!,,,,

Didn't know he was related to the Parnhams.

Didn't Peter Ensell call races too? He also did the WAFL for the ABC in the 80`s when they had cameras at two games, I liked his footy commentary and was trying to track him down recently through Bob Maumill to do an interview on him

Yeah mate Peter Ensel did call WAFL footy in the 80's on 7 from memory when they used to cover a few WAFL games each round. He later worked at Channel 10 as a sports reporter and then presented Friday Night Live from Gloucester Park on Access 31 which used to cover the trots from GP and talk about local sport. I think he also had a short stint as a bookmaker. He has owned a few horses with some success over the years.

Great stuff mate! Tou jogged my memory, Maumill did tell me he was bookmaking, but that was 2 years ago. That Friday nite live show was pretty good too, pity it died in the arse
