I can't cop that Mike ..all 11 of these muppets are millionaires and yet they are crying over a hopelessly out of form 38yo who was rightfully not picked last test at Edgbaston ..they are now all playing for their cricket lives in my book!

Fair enough BH and Haddin wasnt in great form but I thought he would have at least shown a bit of spine out there tonight and defied them and perhaps mounted a bit of a counter attack. He has got a bit of a track record of coming through when Australia have been up against it. I'm not convinced that Nevill is up to it either. Also England have sorted out Smith probably thanks to Bayliss who is a pretty smart pick by the Poms

Yeah Bayliss has picked us clean no doubt about that but I think not having Harris two or three days before the first test unbalanced the side

gee that was so depressing all you can do is but laugh..the arrogance, smugness and genuine lack of technique by the Aust batsmen is just embarrassing...how many times has Broad done that to Aus and gone crazy in a 5 - 10 over spell and ripped Aust apart?.......

Amazing to think Clarke left the MCG after the WC final at the highest of all highs.....now at Trent Bridge he must be at the lowest of all lows......obviously changes need to be made not just within the team but on the coaching/selection panel.....Langer must be firming as Aust next coach surely?....with Smith to captain but to bat at 4 surely?.......

Complete shambles, watched it for about 10 minutes and turned it off, just a joke.

I think the bowling was good but only Warner got a ball that was almost unplayable in my opinion. To see Siddle and McDermott sitting on the balcony laughing and we are 6 for not many. That summed it up for me just doesn't mean much to these blokes as long as the money is right.

Bit unfair to draw conclusions from one piece of TV footage Larry, I'm sure they are all feeling humiliated no matter how much they are being paid. Probably could have done with Siddle in the team given his style of bowling. It comes back to the fact that barring some miracle we have now lost 4 series in a row in England because our batsmen are totally incompetent facing the moving ball and this innings was the most graphic illustration of that.
