Late in the 3rd quarter an Eags player took a clean mark on the goal line after a shot by a GC player. Because the stupid afl dont have a side angle on the shot it was called "touched".
My question, surely it was either a mark on the goal line, or a goal. How on earth could it be a point??

Well if you can get into the umpires head and work out why frees are paid when there not there and not pay frees when they are there then you are doing well.
Sadly the umps stuff it up once twice three times in every game.
Eg. the water bottle incident last week,a free and a goal mmmm.

Unk the goal technology was up to shit eagles v Collingwood as well.
The Eagles kicked a goal was given a point no review,
Shepherd clearly touches the ball yet goal still given after review.
Its got me stuffed why they still cant get this right.

BTW Anchorman that was holding the ball.

Umps must have thought it was juggled over the line.

Nope clear mark, hence my confusion. Plus the goal umpire said it was touched,( he didnt mention the mark be juggled as such ) surely the filed umpire decides if it is a mark.
