Remember when footy was footy, and when we used to just talk about footy because it was footy?

Sunday nights was a footy ritual with "The Winners". There was nothing like it. No saturation, no political bulldust, no causes to save. Just Drew Morphett and his think head of hair, his turtle neck and basic one hour footy highlights package.

Fox Footy now have "The Winners" Re-booted on Wednesdays. Its great to just sit back and watch these old re-runs. I recommend if you can, take a look and remember footy as it used to be, and still should be. Without the bullshit that is attached to the game these days. Just Footy

Unfortunately it wasnt on this last Wednesday night Jars ..pity as I prefer watching the 80's games compared to the current AFL!
