Great to see Marsh given a chance & Haddin pull the pin. His replacement is the number two wicket keeper from NSW thus avoiding a top State keeper from bugger all states getting a go.
Boys club manners. Wont watch it as commentators as worse than COMETTI. Time to sack a few more before coming home without the URN.

The reason is, that his daughter is ill, once again.
Hopefully all turns out right for his daughter.

Dont like Haddin on the field BUT as you say a/man, this is entirely different.

I've only seen Neville play once but was really impressed with his keeping and batting in that particular game.

How many shield games did Haddin play last season?.....pretty sure Neville played as many games as Wade, Whiteman and Hartley did last season.....from memory Neville scored over 750 runs at an ave of 75....and took 29 catches......not bad for an understudy.....would love Whiteman as the keeper but his time will come.....especially when JL takes over the reins......at 23 no harm in the kid biding his tme and learning his craft for another year or two........hopefully bu then Agar will be bowling, Bancroft opening and Behrendorf coming on at first change.....

But we all know the unwritten rule of Australian cricket Freezin... you have to have a blue cap to qualify for a green cap....

The English have got a lot of momentum out of that first test, similar to what we had after Brisbane in the previous series. The Aussies need to turn it around at Lords and the best way to do this is to bat first, get the runs on the board and put England under scoreboard pressure this time. The only snag to this is that I am not convinced that this Australian batting line up is up to it at the moment. It needs at least 2 guys to make hundreds rather than 30s and 40s which will then lead to a 400+ score which then allows the bowlers like Johnson and Starc to attack.
