I think they're in the same boat as the Eagles...they haven't beaten the really top teams. So how good are they really? It's all ahead of them.

Looking at the season from here in, I would say that they will play part for sure .But not sure how far they can go. Depends on whether they have to travel more than once over the finals.
A couple of games that may have earlier been hard may not be now.

Cash cow for the AFL, thats the main reason they dont travel.

their away games at Etihad must take a lot out of them, its such a joke the travelling arrangements. hopefully come finals time they will have to travel over to the west

Collingwood still have their training wheels on Mighty V, that showed I the last Q the other night against the reigning back to back champs and favourites to go 3 in a row, The Hawks have more in the tank than other contenders like Frem, Syd, Coll or the Eagles IMO. I actually think it could be a Hawthorn v Eagles GF this year
