TFS: I would pick Neale over Priddis and it was a free kick against Ballantyne - nothing more nothing less.

On what basis would you pick Neale over Priddis?

To me I think Priddis is a straight up in & under midfielder. He is not one of those outside break the lines mids. The work he does and his forced disposals almost always under intense pressure are what he is good at. To me the boy is an honest class player. Where any critique of him comes from is baffling. I don't get it and comparisons are pointless. No player is the same. He headed many of the AFL stats last year, what more does the fella have too do. Id have him at North any day. A terrific local WA produced product.

It must have been the opinion of "Ross the Boss" and the rest at Freo, because they quickly accepted the two weeks

You obviously must have a different rule book or you watched it with your purple glasses on as the legal team at the dockers didnt agree with you and accepted teh 2 weeks, pretty wise too! Remind me not to go to the trib. with you representing me swannie.

Bazza Freo's decision is purely a pragmatic one.

Read all the posts before making judgement. This is the post I was referring to.
If the rules applied to all then Ballantyne would have got a fine. Johnson 17 times before the tribunal and not mention of his previous bad record, cops a fine for a cowards attack on Mitchell.
From Viv For Vic By Vic.

A/man just had Mc Cains on the phone, can you spare them that chip you have on yer shoulder. Amazing when things go Wa's way that there is no mention of Vic centric, but once ya cop a decision against ya, it comes out again.

Ohh A/man not sure if you realise but as of this year the match review have a different set of rules....as per below.

Johnson was offered the fine by the match review panel for an early guilty plea, which would allow him to play on Sunday against Fremantle in round two.

Under the new match review system, a first low-end offence results in a $1500 fine, reduced to $1000 for an early guilty plea.

The match review panel now issues fines for incidents that would have resulted in a one-game suspension under the old system.

Geelong said they expect Johnson to plead guilty and accept the fine.

On Monday night Mitchell described the hit as a ‘glancing blow’ and said it did not deserve a suspension.

cliched response, A/man, very rarely happens at domain stadium though. Its not the frees the dockers got by the way that bothered me in any shape or form, its the ones the cats didnt get. As i said we was well and truly flogged anyway. At half time it was 12 points the diff by the way from memory
