Gonna get some stick here with this performance, anyone got any one liners I can use to keep the kiwis at bay? Be interested to see if Johnson gets the flick, like what Hazlewood did after the Eng game.....Aussies arrogance once again to the fore with some shite shot selection and wayward fast bowling.......and now Johnson getting carted around like he is McCullums play thing  .....McCullum shows you can be aggressive and in your face without arrogance.....hopefully a lesson learnt for the likes of Warner, Johnson etc.

Good early wake up call for Lehmann et al, saying that though NZ deserve their success so far, still a long way to go, hopefully the kiwis have peaked early on........certainly on fire that is for sure!

Freeze: The Australians batted badly which is unsurprising given Maxwell and Marsh are in the order. Vettori bowled well; but, I agree with your wider analysis of the competition, NZ are going to play badly at some point against either India, South Africa or England -- although England has to make the next stage first. Therefore, in the long run, they are unlikely to win the thing.

Just an observation.,..why do we always seem to play better when Clarke is out of the side???

Lucky that NZ had Williamson, otherwise the Aussies may have snatched that. Just needed one more yorker from Starc...

Lucky Aussies put on 40 odd for the last wicket with Haddin, otherwise it woulda been all over way earlier :)

Now I know why the Poms shit themselves during the last ashes series, it wasn't because of his bowling the tats and an angry looking man did it, same deal for the Saffers as well.

yeh unk and lucky they had this and unlucky we didn't have that and lucky the Queen doesn't have balls or she'd have to be our King.....yada,yada, yada.
The south sea poms will be shooting their bolt right about now....one more sux off the bit and we will huv wun the cup
If they are able to make the final (hopefully against the Aussies) I reckon they'll choke. The Aussies don't like to lose!
At the end of the day, they won the battle, but that doesn't win the war.

If Clarke had have bowled Starc out instead of taking him out of the attack for a few overs (replaced by Johnson who got carted all over Auckland) we would have won this bloody game. I wonder if Clarke's fan boy Warnie will have a dig at his lovechild for that crucial error of judgement where Starc was left high and dry having bowled only 9 of his allotted 10 overs, I doubt it tho he will try and pin the blame on Starc, Boof, Watson or anyone else but his beloved Pup!!
