Hello fellow Ozfooty.net users,

The 2015 WAFL season is only 49 days away and I can't wait.
At this time of the year every one is optimistic that their WAFL Club are in tip top condition and are going to roll the dice to be finals contenders.

A lot of changes in the WAFL this year some were foreseen some were not, only time will
tell if they are the right one's like the Channel 7 Telecast and final five.

For Ozfooty.net we are in our third year, what is in stall for us in 2015.

Firstly I personally would like to Thank my Cousin Mike the mastermind behind this site.
Mike came to me over three years ago and said we need to start a new WAFL forum site, as we could see the writing on the wall for footygoss and WAFL Online. Mike had the software knowledge back ground as I did not, so Mike went to work and what we see today is through Mike's hard work.

Couple weeks ago Mike tolled every one on this site that he will be stepping down as site admin due to new commitments, and his time will not permit him to oversee the site on a full time basis. Please help me thank Mike for his sterling and amazing job all form his home in NSW. Mike will still be seen on the this forum form time to time and I'am sure he will give updates on the NEAFL and maybe help out when he can.

I SAY THANK YOU VERY MUCH MIKE FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK OVER TWO YEARS

Ozfooty.net WAFL Tipping comp is on again. Fingers cross that ooslumbird put's his hand up again to run the competition and we see a couple new Articles in Past & Present Player's.

I will be stepping in as a full time Admin of this site this year and with some new ideals that I will be playing with this year that will help all of us to keep up-to-date on all things WAFL, Stay tuned for that.

And don't forget our

Well done Mike and George on your time and effort on this forum. It is almost the only opportunity for opposing WAFL supporters to have a robust discussion on our WAFL competition. It also provides an opportunity for us to indirectly communicate with the WAFC on what direction we want the WAFL competition to take. Certainly I know personally that keen interest is taken in my views on the WAFL Competition.

Keep up the good work George and I hope that we all can enjoy another successful season with Swans in 2015.

I would also like to reiterate your comments that oos will take up the baton and run the WAFL competition again this year.

Thank you George and Mike for the hard work that goes on behind the scenes.
The Wafl is in many instances ignored by the main media outlets. It's brilliant to view news, other members comments etc about the Wafl in the forums here. Cannot see why ozfooty can't be around for many, many, and many more years. I won't participate in the footy tipping after taking a step back from the Wafl. After all the unpopular decisions that have taken place, but walking away completely is easier said than done.
As with the Wafl commercial tv deal, we'll have to wait and see? Not a great fan of the top 5 idea, but it's purely a commercial decision to raise more revenue. Good luck to the seven Wafl clubs.

I cannot thank Mike & George enough for this site. I think that initially, people thought that this might become swandistricts.com, but it has been a terrific, well balanced discussion site. Thanks again boys.

Thanks again boys for your hard work on this site. It's nice to have somewhere to constantly talk about WAFL. Unfortunately it's not such a common thing to do in the workplace now but this site means I can talk WAFL 24/7 and not annoy Mrs AFL haha

Good luck Mike. You should have a lot of pride in what you have been a major part of creating here, especially all the wonderful selection of smiley faces we get to choose from maybe George can introduce a guest smiley once a month that we can all over indulge ourselves with

Yes, we can all do with a smile once in a while.
