Not sure if it is true but the ABC sports radio reported that the cleaners at the Perth Arena found Serena Williams runners up trophy in the rubbish bin in the change rooms after the presentations and after she had left the arena.

If this is true it is very disappointing. Should she ever be invited back?

I went to see the USA v Canada match and she did not want be their in the singles and seemed to not try very hard. She did improve during the doubles match.
