Ken is not the most exciting commentator but I don't mind listening to his thoughts which are usually very insightful. Also he sticks up for the WAFL unlike some of the other AFL mouthpieces like Hagdorn and Langdon

I like Judgey. Calls it as it is and educates himself with facts

Looks like you're outvoted raiser and you don't get mine either. Judgy is as everyone else says - forthright and not afraid to stand on toes. I too, disagree with some of his comments, but he knows a lot more about the game than most of us. If he has a weakness, it's with the Eagles, but then so would I if I was shafted by them like he was. As for his ability as a coach, like someone previously said - '92 & '94....too old too slow too bloody good!!

Judgey tells it like it is when commentating and is a great EF & WAFL supporter.

Coached us to 2 flags...both we weren't suppose to win. Will never forget them as we were rank underdogs. His time as coach at Hawks & WC was bad timing. Both clubs on downward spirals. He walked into the WCE and found there was a drug problem, tried to fix it but wasn't supported very well. I don't think Nisbitt is on his Chrissy list put it that way.

I dont mind him as a commentator, I remember him going off at George G one day live on air.

I am a big Ken Judge fan.
like others have said he is a straight shooter, still has passion for local footy. I enjoy his views very much. He is a breath of fresh air given he doesn't sugar coat things or dance around reality.

Yep i put it out there, that's why it's a forum and i'll cop the flack.
Appreciate the feedback even if it's from (mainly)freo tragics.

my main point was his commentary. always glass half empty. always moaning and bitching. cant raise his level, always monotonous.
if he was so good he'd commentate full on not give secondary comments in the background.
i dont really care about his west coast exploits as i lived in melbourne during that time but i think my old man made the (joke) point that he was suicidal wen his appointment was made. He made it before judgey started coaching and picked it perfectly as the time went on. at that point west coast werent that flash but they werent gonna go anywhere with ken judge. funnily enough, if he had ability for afl coaching (and lets not delude ourselves, it is way and above wafl level) why didnt he continue to pursue.
i appreciate the fact he is a staunch wafl advocate and i have no doubt he promotes wafl and like all of us is worried where our local comp is going.
but he wasnt gonna go anywhere else as far as commentating goes (afl).
