I know a lot of you may laugh at this.............

In regards to the G7 clubs how about the idea of not just membership to your supported club but a G7 MEMBERSHIP.

Not only would you be supporting your club but the other G7 clubs. The revenue from this could be divided up between the clubs. Food and drink discounts to card holding members at games, half time get togethers (like the PPAO do). Bring people through the gates and give some incentives to supporters. Your club has a bye or you don't wish to travel to Mandurah simple go watch another WAFL game. Of course this will break the golden rule of club members only in some bars but revenue is survival.

Of course WCE and FREO are not covered by this arrangement and during EP home games supporters can get access to Subiacos bar and facilities to support a fellow G7 club.

I like it.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

it would be good for clubs with a smaller supporter base like Cl and Subi but would disadvantage clubs like Swans and WP which rely on membership revenue to survive.

People can still get their club memberships but this could be added incentives to all clubs with low supporter base to stay afloat and promote interclub support.

Hey when EP play home games opposition supporters will drink in Subis bar (this happens anyway as the drinks are cheaper, atmosphere is better and rooms are better)
