The WA guys have made a really promising start to the one day series with another win over Tasmania today to make it 3 from 3. When you think of the disarray that the team was in a few years back, it is obvious that JL has made a heck of a difference to the culture of the team and there are now a number of outstanding young players who are performing consistently. Guys such as Whiteman, Paris, Agar and Berendorff are all future Australian players in my view but if they can contribute to a successful season for WA then the National selection will take care of itself. It is only early days I know but I can't remember the last time that there was such a sense of optimism going into the season.

I'm with you on that Mike. I thought they were gone when Ed Cowan was smacking them around. What a find young Paris is - early stages, but full of promise. Klinger could add some mature steel to the team. JL has certainly made a difference.
