Can someone please explain to me why Port Adelaide are allowed to wear their home jumper in today's prelim final at the MCG while Fremantle were told they had to wear their away strip in last year's GF? How the fuck was Fremantles home strip going to clash with Hawthorn's anymore than PA's home strip?

And a fortnight ago PA were forced to wear their away strip at home to the Tigers. WTF is going on? It's just insane.

Port are wearing white shorts, That is all Freo were asked to do in last years GF. Freo said they are either an all purple or all white strip. So Freo decided to wear the white jumper with the white shorts.

No conspiracy play on.

But I agree what happened in week 1 of the finals to Port was bizarre, the AFL were just plain dumb, if not complete dickheads.

Fair enough I didn't know that but purple clashes with brown does it? Richmond actually did the right thing wearing their away strip. Maybe they were saying to Port wear your home strip we don't care?
