Kangaroo Court decision with same integrity and quality. An absolute disgusting and disgraceful decision. Completely and unambiguously railroaded. Done, unequivocally, to attempt to remove the embarassment which may have occurred at the end of next month.

The MRP has lost the last shred of credibility.

Swan, it's disappointing that Fyfe put himself into the situation where the MRP could have a look at him. I've looked at the replay several times and it was a clear hit and well off the play, it was high but fairly low impact and the player returned quickly to be the Hawks best players, but Fyfe was clearly in the wrong. I'm a massive Fyfe fan he is a terrific player but needs to cope better with the attention he will inevitably get being one of the best players in the comp. He had a couple of brain fades that cost 2 goals, luckily it didn't effect the result but come finals time he will be under greater pressure from opposition players and scrutiny by the umps and the MRP. The ball is in his court to make sure he doesn't retaliate as we all know it's the second one that gets seen. The best way to put it up the tagger is to beat them in the contests which Fyfe can do easily when his mind is on the job. As we saw in last years GF he has the ability to dominate at times in the biggest game of the year so he needs to be on the field contributing, not on the sidelines.

For Gods sake swannie, give it a rest. ANOTHER anti dockers conspiracy theory. Something tells me that if it had been an Eagles, Magpie or some other team, it would have been justice in your eyes.

There are a plethora of examples including Franlin's forearm, Johnston's droppinh his knee and kciking which have been allowed to go through to the keeper and closer to home Glass and his antics.

The question SS is a matter of consistency. How some can be considered to be insufficient force yet Fyfe's contact is deemed to warrant a suspension. Obviously, Lewis was severely impacted by the blow.

Bazza I presume you are talking about what Franklin did or maybe the spoil where the MRP were in a parallel universe because their analysis did not match the evidence. Gerard Whateley confirmed on AFL 360 exactly why Fyfe was railroaded yesterday when he indicated that the "Fyfe for Brownlow" campaign was now dead.

Bazza I thought you had more credibility than Whateley; perhaps I was wrong in that regard.

Swan Im not commenting on the Franklin incident or any others purely the Fyfe one.

He went up miles behind play and smacked someone in the back of the head, it was a blatant as anything, he obvisoulsy did it thinking he would be out of camera shot at the time, but wasnt smart enough, the bloke has feral side no idea why as he is a good player and does not need to do it.

Every commentator I have heard said he has not got a leg to stand on and should cop the two weeks.

The local conspiracy paranoia here is plapable.

get a grip mate.

anyway stuff the AFL and two local teams.

I have no issue with Fyfe copping weeks for what he did this time around. I would have thought it would be worth maybe 1 week though. It was pretty dumb by Fyfe, and was completely unnecessary.

BUT, there have been alot of cases where guys have got off for worse.

How many weeks for Franklin's high contact bump from the week end?
