So Thorpey has finally 'officially' come out and said he was gay. Why is this such big news? I dont understand how someones sexuality is anyone elses business, let alone front page of the paper shit.
Good on him for coming out to the public, with a lot of backwards people still living in todays society the wouldnt have been easy but it just baffles me that this stuff makes the news. Who cares if someone is gay, straight, bisexual, asexual or anything else.

Agree. Whats worse is one of the reason is that major sponsors would have left in droves had he came out when he was at he peak of his career. That too is inexcuseable

Unfortunately this is probably true. Thankfully we have made solid leaps and bounds with issues such as homophobia and racism, but we still have a loooooooooooong way to go.
