anyone remember that classic debate on Footy goss after Freo picked Hill over Natanui?....lot of talk at the time of how Freo got it terribly wrong....geez Hill had a burner today, whilst NicNat did what he seems to do best of late..... a little something now and then interspersed with a lot of nothing most of the time......perhaps just perhaps Freo may have finally got one of their recruiting decisions right?..........

Hill or NicNat fella's?.....or is it still too early days yet to say one way or the other?......or perhaps it's put your glasses down, this race is well n truly over!!

Right now Hill by a country mile Freezin but I'm not a NicNat basher. I think he needs a couple of injury free years and pre seasons to show his wares but one of the simple disciplines he needs to learn is to play in front. Hilly sliced and diced his way through the Eagles midfield today like a hot knife through butter. There is no better player in the freo side with the ball in his hands.

I remember the debate on footygoss was Hill or Rich freeze!

The jury is still out, but Nic has a heap of ground to make up - if he can. Kenny Judge gave Nic and absolute bake today - like I've never heard before. It's hard to argue against what he said atm.

Nic nat is a freak athlete. that can be good. Alas a footy brain, i dont think he will ever have. Q Lynch comes to mind to a DEGREE, limited abality but at least mad the most of it. Football "brain" wise he never improved. Still the marketing people will say he brings in a squillion dollars a year, fair nuff. Good luck with that.

yep reckon you are right there BH(....again! )...kinda a remember there was a lot of banter between Hill and Nic Nat too......but yeah it was Hill v Rich, as Nic Nat went pick 2 for WCE , Hill pick 3 for Freo and Rich pick 7 for Brisbane....Fark I'm getting old......or perhaps Footygoss was such a long time ago.....may it RIP!

My granddad use to say from an early age that "a good big man will always beat a good little man". Hill is a good little man, nicnat a good big man?

I actually thought Yarran or Clancee were the pick of that crop ...

Freezin how could Freo pick Nic Nat given that he had already been selected by the Eagles?
