I tried watching an episode once anchor and got about 5 minutes in and switched over as the canned laughter at even the weakest jokes was too much even for me. It's obviously an acquired taste as for mine its one of the biggest loads of chit on tv...but hey, at least its got a thread on here going.

Yeah we love watching it anchorman. Not much on television i enjoy watching regularly (apart from sport). I also still enjoy watching survivor when there is a series on.

Don't watch free to air tv unless it's a sporting game that isn't on Fox. Had a gutsfull of endless adverts. 5 mins show, 7 mins ads - not for me, plus most of the crap is an insult to our intelligence. Love me Fox.

Don't watch much free to air except SBS. Whilst we are on the subject of good shows Prisoners of War is certainly worth a look if you don't mind subtitles. It is the original Israeli show that the US series Homeland was based on. Homeland is grossly inferior by comparison.

Shameless the Pommie version, there is in my opinion NO american comedy that is even slightly funny, american TV shows that I watch rarely are law & order, but generally dont like or watch american TV.

Cant stand that show, its just another unfunny Yankie show, knowone does comedy better than the Poms IMO
