Anyone notice the National Anthem sung prior to the Hawks vs Swans game. Near the end the camera zoomed in to show Goodes chatting with the player beside him. Plenty of respect. We need an Aboriginal flag flying beside the Australian flag to shut him up.

There should be an Aboriginal flag there leather. My parents immigrated from Ireland. I was born here, but my thoughts are that there should definitely be an Aboriginal flag at sporting events.

Flags / religion/ politics ...... they all cause seperation when they are supposed to unite
Its almost to the point that we fly 'no flag' so as to not upset ....someone???

As for Goodes - I have no issue with his culture or colour if thats whats needed to be said - I have an issue with the man.
He only respects his own set of social values and what 'HE' believes should happen in Australia for what I know he terms HIS people - and I gather that from his numerous speeches and outspoken statements
Talking through the national Anthem will not get his masssage across any quicker ...not when simple respect is thrown away for the country he lives in. The man chooses to keep the divide between the black tribe and the white tribe through his unthoughtful actions.

Not an Australian of the Year in my book - better he stayed just a footballer and one that should soon retire before he spoils his own legacy

Yup noticed it too. For aoty, hugely disrecpectful, maybe if all the players bowed to him it might help.
