fact is he still managed to fit that into his speech. he could have said "no comment, that's in the past, time to move forward" and be done with it.
People like Goodes are attention seekers. This confirms it in my opinion.
Im certainly no fan of Eddie, but I doubt he would lose any sleep about Goodes not being his friend. I still cant get my head around how he won Australian Of The Year. Its about time people who are not sportsmen, get the same recognition in such an honour.

Correct anchorman, big differnce being Stevie J doesnt pretend to be a martyr and all of a sudden a human rights campaigner, like Goodes does. Stevie J is a chractare of the game, playes hard hits hard (sometimes unfairly), and cops it, being verbal or physical, unlike Goodes.

MRP dont miss many of Stevie J'stummy taps ( or whatever), they miss plenty of Golden boys Goodes one's though!!

Spot on the money Unk.

Love Stevie J, except of course when he's playing us then he's a dirty sniping mongrel b@stard.

Uses to rate Goodesy, now see him as a whinger with an agenda.

Right you are AM, however it is NOT a reportable offence. A free kick perhaps, but not to get reported.

A/man IF they reported EVEYTHING from evey game that WAS reportable, there would be no players playing the next week. Personally i think you are clutching at straws re Stevie J, your bias is showing

Going by the decision on Viney last night it might be heading that way anyway unka! What a fucking joke. The AFL should be ashamed of themselves.

The AFL is so far removed from "the product" ( as it is known), as it runs a distant second to MONEY. They have no idea on what the people want. Its so much like politics, those both Labour and LIberals are so far removed from reality its embarrasing. The AFL is losing the "die hards" that is the people who go to the footy week in week out. Trouble is the "transient" mob they pull in now may well disappear, THEN they will look to the die hards, who alas are leaving in droves. It IS a problem

not asking that they report every but at least look at the recidivists.
I admire Stevie J,but he does seem to get some lee way from the umpires.I know he has copped his share of penalties but he continually does silly stuff and seems to be immune from report.
The incidents I am talking about are actual hands around the opposition plays throat, not an incidental arm around the throat.
Not clutching at straws at all just saying what I actually have seen him do with out report.

Agree to disagree, reckon Stevie J cops more suspensions than most, funny how his tumy taps are picked up, yet as YOU MENTIONED when he responded to Hodges tummy tap, that he (stevie J ) should habe been reported. What abouts Hodges Tummy tap that instigated it??, why wasnt that sited, yet ya want Stevie J's tobe cited??
Goodes, yes even Hodge get far more leeway than Stevie j A/MAn

I made mention of that issue earlier,so not having a go at SJ at all.I also said he gets reported as well.
