Flew home at 4oo miles an hour this evening to view our 'local footy' show and it looks like more of the same crappy dribble!!!!! They seem to have plenty of time to discuss purple houses, sponsors names, repeatedly repeat things that have been in the press all week and even saw video of some guy looking at a mobile phone!!!
But Mark, why is the local footy only mentioned for 20 seconds?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Just in case no-one realises we have 4 BIG games tomorrow with Round 7 whereby East Fremantle can settle into the top 4 with a win. Perth (playing away) can get back on track with a win this week. South Fremantle take on Claremont which is a big game for both clubs & the late match of the round with Subiaco v Swan Districts. And the only exposure the Wafl games received is 20 seconds worth?!?!
How the hell does that work?????

Very disappointing effort by Mark and the team there. May as well give this show the flick already as it's simply the same old dribbly crap.
Don't mean to sound like a wet sock here, but what could be a great 'local' footy show is FAR from it!!!

I relented & tried to watch it & wished I hadn't within 10 minutes ..... Big pile of shite , Barich is just an Eagles stoolie ... won't bother with that AFL rubbish again

I can't stand Barich & wouldn't have ever considered to watch this show based on him.
Sounds exactly like I thought it would. Utter rubbish.

Couch & table from A-Mart, two footys sitting on a table supposedly giving the show an AFL atmosphere, Barich in a suit that looked like he slept in it, two footballers as guests looking like they wished they were some where else especially when having to sit so close to the shows compares (needs a three seater couch guys not a lovers seat)and then to top it off and almost as an afterthought, 15-20 seconds of reference to the WAFL -?????????? so-so-so disappointing and if this is the gist of the show I would have to say I prefer to watch the more one sided eastern states shows on offer - not this dribble late at night

Sadly Anchorman being a Barich groupie is not going to save you from being embarrassed by your own words....

Obviously those that watched the show and yet remain disappointed watched more than a thirty second snippet as you snidely remarked - maybe YOU should read more of others posts than the words that suit 'your own opinion...'

Speaking of Suit, or whether it be just the 'jacket' the fact it looked slept in remains the same and the comment lends itself to the lack of a professional look the show or rather the man portrayed- something you have missed entirely .... sadly as it misses the point YOU wish to make again.

It was also you that suggested the show might hold a significant section devoted to the WAFL - I am sure you would agree 15 - 20 seconds is more than just a dismal effort by a new local show and when you would also consider on its first night it would be trying to impress first watch viewers?

But enough about YOU ... I am sure I am taking up valuable time you would prefer spending with yourself..

Sorry anchorman. Was only able to read your previous post for 20 seconds and then had to ignore the rest of it. If all we get is 20 seconds of local footy out of a 30 minute programme, it's a very, very, very poor excuse for a programme. I think someones havin' a laugh trying to call it 'local'

What makes you guy's think this was ever going to be about WAFL footy ???
I was surprised that they even mentioned who was playing in our comp. These guy's wouldn't give or know anything about the WAFL !!!
These guy's like the rest of their viewers don't give a toss about the WAFL.
It's only us on here who live and breathe it and the footy commission doesn't promote or give a shit about the WAFL either. Sadly it's up to us to push the WAFL barrow as no one else will !!!
