I think the Townshend article is a great example of what a quality journalist he is and how much credibility the entire WAFL community should have in him.

One of his main theories as to why East Perth have lost two games is that due to pressure from WCE, Johnson is being forced to play as a forward pocket while Lycett and Sinclair are rotated through the ruck. Thus depriving East Perth of their major weapon on the ball.

Possibly a good theory as to why we beat them although Sinclair and Lycett played great games.

The theory kind of falls in a massive hole for the loss the week before when neither Sinclair or Lycett played for East Perth and Johnson played the majority of the game in the ruck.
